Watching Sylvia Zerbini and her incredible team of horses performing at liberty is a magical experience. Perhaps most captivating of all Sylvia’s horses is the leader of her Grande Liberté performances – Rico. A striking grey Arabian/Andalusian stallion, he’s best known for performing many of the rearing elements seen in the Grande Liberté. Sylvia says that her amazing partnership with Rico – and the rest of her horses – is the result of communication, love, and respect.
